Willow Dryden didn't grow up in a big city, but music was always close. Her dad played deep house on old vinyl in the garage and by the time she was 10, she was already trying to mix tracks on a second-hand laptop. She didn't talk about it much, she just did what she loved. Quietly learning, quietly improving.

At 15, she played her first proper set at a friend's party, it wasn't perfect but it was enough. People danced and some people even asked for a link to her SoundCloud. She started posting mixes online under her real name - no persona, no gimmicks and people loved it.

She didn't blow up overnight, it was slow and steady; local gigs, support slots and long nights making edits in her room. She leaned into deep house because it made sense to her, steady, thoughtful and layered, just like her.

By 19, she caught the attention of a few names in the scene after a set in London got shared around. From there became small festival slots, radio mixes and eventually her own releases; every move she made was intentional.

Now at 24, Willow's been named Nominated Artist of the Month by Unveiled. She didn't expect it, in the interview she said, "I just make what I want to hear. If people connect with it, that's a bonus.

She is still not loud about it and still focused in the music, still getting better - it is only the beginning.
